About the Project
In 2014, the storm-damaged culverts routing the Parker River under Glendale Road and Main Street in Boxford were replaced with a much larger concrete box culvert which eliminated a former barrier and made the crossing much more resilient to future flooding, extreme weather, and other projected impacts of climate change.
As part of the project, the intersection of Glendale Road and Main Street was reconfigured to eliminate the need for a culvert under Glendale Road.
